Balance Your Life | Reach to the Source of the Problem | A Day in the Life of Coach & Author Anjana Baliga
Anjana Baliga is a Life Coach, Mental Health
Counsellor, and an Author. She is an expert coach who teaches about dealing
with problems of weak memory, anger management, stress management, anxiety,
depression, addiction, etc.
The greatest challenge in today's world is lack of
sleep, frustration, and financial crises.
Anjana Baliga guides us with love and inspiration.
She explains how to deal with these problems with ease and live a peaceful
& respectable life.
Anjana Baliga is also an NLP practitioner, clinical
hypnotherapist, and a certified Past Life Regressionist (Vipassana) Meditator
who believes that there is so much to life than just what we see from our
normal eyes and mundane mind. She believes one should understand human behavior
& human psychology to be a better person.
Each day is a new beginning
Anjana Baliga considers every day a new beginning. She
is an early riser and her day begins at 4:00 am. She starts her day by paying
gratitude to the Almighty that she is alive and for all the things which have
been bestowed over her.
She believes that Prayers are the most powerful
tool to convey one’s feelings and generate internal and intellectual strength.
Warming up for the day
Anjana does a little warming up physical exercise
then does “Sham Bhavi Kriya, “ a multicomponent breath-based yogic practice (pranayama),
on perceived stress and general well-being.
She then writes mantras from the Holy Scripture of
Sanatana Dharma, chants some prayers, and writes a gratitude journal to express
her feelings. Then she ends her morning routine of prayers with meditation.
Balancing act - family first
Anjana Baliga focuses on the kitchen work and
prepares breakfast and lunch for the family. She figures out if there are any
immediate requirements to be met for the family and discusses the same with her
family members and plans out for the rest of the day. She believes balancing one’s
family life and work-life is a recipe for a perfect and satisfying life. This
is where she believes – most of her clients complain about and are not able to
figure out the perfect balance.
She especially takes counseling sessions to help
master the skills needed to strike this balance.
An inclusive morning walk
While she goes on a morning walk, she meticulously visits
her social media profiles for a glance and replies to messages to her clients and
leaves comments on videos and photos wherever needed. She uses these walks to
charge her up with the perfect mood to do her regular 1-minute video shots for
Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
She loves making these short reels and adding
captions to them. So she nicely does a fusion of physical exercise and social
media updates to save time and maintain regular touch with her clients and touch
base with new people.
Learning quotient each day
Anjana believes one should be judicious of what information
we are storing in our subconscious mind so there is an outflow of information
but what we choose to see is our wish.
Anjana often explicitly teaches this point to her
clients - constant learning is essential daily and should always be updated
with the current. For this, she goes through some news sites quickly, print
media, and television.
Anjana is a voracious reader. To increase her
understanding of various subjects, she reads lots of wonderful books. She has
by now almost read 80 to 100 books. Her depth of knowledge is evident in the
sessions which she takes for her clients. Her favorite authors are Tony Robinson Jay
Shetty, Brain Tracy, Wayne Dyer Louis Hey, and Don Miguel.
Meticulously plans coaching
sessions for clients
Although Anjana has
flexible timings depending on her client’s schedules, she mostly conducts coaching
assignments between 11 am to 1 pm, then breaks for lunch and takes a rest. Then
she conducts evening sessions between 4 pm to 7 p.m. To relax her mind and
regain freshness, she takes a power nap in the afternoon.
In her sessions, depending
upon the requirement of the client, she provides different assignments each day.
At first, she is the one who patiently listens and asks relevant questions. The
objective is to reach the source of the problem and then provide them with new
insights to create the desired layout. She does regular follow-ups with her
clients. Anjana feels a regular follow-up is essential in today’s times.
Constant learning is a
golden rule
Like any true professional,
Anjana believes constant upgrading of knowledge is the key to success in
today’s ever-competitive world. When she is not having any professional
assignments, she immediately enrolls in other senior professionals’ mentor
programs like “Empowering Series”, “cognitive behavior therapy sessions”, and “Meditation
for all”. She has just recently enrolled herself for ‘mind valley’ masterclasses
like Conscious Planet, Healthy Lifestyle, etc.
Coaching needs flexibility
in topics
On any given day, Anjana
keeps her prepared with the below topics
. Positivity Enhancement
. Stress Reduction
. Persistent Irritability
. Dissatisfaction at work
. Work-life balance
. Productivity Enhancement
. Relationship issues
Practice what you preach
She coaches her clients to
adopt a healthy lifestyle. This she also follows. She eats lots of
fruits and salads for breakfast. A low-carb dinner drinks plenty of water in the evening and avoids soft drinks but regularly munch on dry fruits and
flax seeds.
She plays brain sharpening
puzzles, word puzzles, and other games to keep enhancing and practicing her
mental skills. She is a positive thinker and asserts all her clients to
maintain a positive outlook for a healthy, balanced and successful life.
Just a couple of days back
she was interviewed by Consultancy Bazaar. Here is the link for her interview.
